CAT response services: Storm Alex hits France

Alex brought fierce winds and torrential rain to France, causing serious damage from floods and landslides. Roads, bridges and homes were destroyed in a number of villages north of Nice. French Prime Minister Jean Castex deployed the army and released emergency funds to address the worst floods in decades to hit southeastern France.

We are at your side to help you.
Sedgwick would like to ensure that our clients know we are here to help and have deployed our team to Nice. Given the isolated conditions of many disaster victims and the difficulties in accessing the sites, our field experts will also use our remote adjusting tools and video capability to access the region. We will thus be able to assess the damage, carry out the initial quantification and speed up the payment of claims to your policyholders.
