Global marine: Maersk boxship loses 260 containers overboard

Maersk reported its second significant container loss from one of its vessels this year. On February 17, the TEU Maersk Eindhoven experienced an engine stop in heavy seas near Japan while en route from China to Los Angeles. As a result, Maersk reported a loss of 260 containers overboard. The crew members are safe, and they are working to assess the extent of the loss.
