Sedgwick acquires Thurlow Consulting in New Zealand

AUCKLAND, New Zealand, 3 February 2021Sedgwick, a leading global provider of technology-enabled risk, benefits and integrated business solutions, today announced its acquisition of Thurlow Consulting Engineers Limited.

Joining forces with Thurlow expands Sedgwick’s building consultancy offerings and enhances its business profile in New Zealand. The acquisition allows Sedgwick to provide clients with in-house consultancy and solutions in construction and engineering.

Thurlow, founded by industry stalwart Ross Thurlow in 1994, provides businesses with professional civil and structural engineering that includes projects such as road building, subdivisions, infrastructure and municipal engineering, resource consent applications, scientific reporting and project administration. Thurlow has worked extensively with national and international developers and local authorities across New Zealand and the Pacific Islands, including the Earthquake Commission (EQC).
