CAT response services: Global marine – Madrid Bridge loss could add up to 140 containers

Ocean Network Express (ONE) has confirmed that around 60 containers were lost overboard and an additional 80 were damaged in a stack collapse on its containership Madrid Bridge last Friday.

The ship was en route from Singapore to New York when the incident occurred. Currently, the vessel has changed course and is heading to dock in Charleston, South Carolina, where it will be further assessed.
