Andy began his insurance career in September 1987 with Royal Insurance, Brighton (the month before the Great Storm of October 1987) within the property claims team. After transferring to Maidstone as a team leader he left in 1990 to pursue a career in Loss Adjusting. He joined Miller Knight as was, later to become Miller Fisher and again Miller Pycraft, initially as a junior adjuster in Croydon progressing to senior adjuster dealing with a wide portfolio of domestic and commercial claims before being promoted to deputy manager at Croydon and then Manager at Solent office becoming first ACII and then ACILA qualified on the way. Andy joined Cunningham Lindsey in November 2006, initially as Manager of the Solent Subsidence Team leaning on his buildings experience and general management skills. This was followed by a spell in Client Relationship Management before a move back in to the property arena of commercial claims, as Manager of the Commercial team at Solent, in September 2016. Following a CAT deployment to Australia to handle cyclone claims arising from Cyclone Debbie in 2017, a reignited passion for claims handling led to a requested redeployment. He was been a member of the Major and Complex Loss team in London since, handling a portfolio of commercial major losses from £100,000.00 up in to the millions. Specialising in commercial property claims, Andy has wide experience of dealing with losses involving all perils and all risks covers. He also has experience of Business Interruption, contractors all risk and goods in transit claims.
