Mr. Fultz has over 28 years’ experience conducting fire service and insurance related origin and cause investigations, specializing in fires and explosions in residential/commercial Property vehicles, etc. He has conducted in excess of 2,000 fire origin and cause investigations. He has attended numerous seminars and continued education programs related to Fire Investigation and NFPA 921 for both public and private sector investigators. He is an IAAI Certified Fire Investigator, Certified Fire/Explosion Investigator, Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator, Pro-Board Certified, HAZWOPER Certified, and a licensed Private Investigator in Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, and West Virginia. Mr. Fultz is also a certified accelerant detection canine handler. He has qualified and provided expert witness testimony in the field of origin and cause of fires and explosions. Prior to beginning his career in fire investigation, he was employed as an engineer technician with MACTEC Engineering, Inc., performing various engineering functions including construction materials testing, construction monitoring, forensic failure analysis, and roof inspections.
