Ms. Bombace has conducted Phase I Environmental Site Assessments of commercial, and multi-family properties, providing detailed, accurate and timely technical and analytical support for various projects incorporating environmental knowledge. With fellow colleagues and peers, her current experience has included:
- Performing a preliminary assessment and site investigation on glycol discharge from a cooling system into a pond and utilized another pond as a control to assist in determining the extent of the impact at the contaminated pond.
- Devised and implemented a water and sediment analysis sampling plan and health and safety plan at both sites in accordance with the NJDEP Field Sampling Procedures manual (2005)
- Conducted in-situ field monitoring of the ponds using the YSI Multi parameter unit and performed lab tests on water samples for glycol, copper and aluminum, and common water ions parameters.
- Evaluated data collected to assess the impact of the discharge and determine stage of recovery.
