Mr. Reynolds began a career in fire investigation in 1982 and has since investigated or supervised the investigation of thousands of fire and explosion incidents throughout the United States and
internationally in West Africa, South America and the Caribbean Islands. Throughout his career Mr. Reynolds has taken nearly 2000 hours of classroom fire investigation and insurance fraud
training, including that taught at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia and also the NICB Basic and Advanced Special Investigations Academy courses. Additionally, he has provided expert witness testimony in state and federal courts.
Mr. Reynolds has held the International Association of Arson Investigators Certified Fire Investigator designation (IAAI-CFI) since 1989 and holds certification # 33-001, the first such
certification bestowed in the state of South Carolina. Mr. Reynolds also holds the American Educational Institute’s certified Fraud Claims Law Specialist designation.
Mr. Reynolds has served in a corporate administrative role over the last several years while also serving in executive leadership roles in insurance trade organizations, including serving as the
national president of the National Society of Professional Insurance Investigators (NSPII) in 2012.
