Mr. Davis’ experience consists of the following: reviewed development/site plans, building plans, sprinkler plans, and fire alarm plans. Developed and implemented policy and procedures. Developed and implemented training manuals. Developed and implemented compliance schedules and public education programs. He has prepared International Fire Code adoptions for the Towns of Windsor, Severance and Larimer and Weld Counties in Colorado. He had direct contact with town and jurisdictional professionals as well as with customer service. He has worked directly with Factory Mutual (FM) Global and the loss prevention team at the Windsor Kodak facility. He maintained ongoing contact with developers, engineers, architects, and county officials. Mr. Davis was an Adjunct Professor with Aims Community College and has taught many classes within the Fire Service and at the Community College level. He has performed multiple Juvenile Fire Setter interviews and provided recommendations based on evaluations. He worked directly with the Children’s Hospital Burn center, Weld/Larimer County Social services and judicial departments. Performed over 350 fire investigations at the public level and has worked directly with the Colorado Bureau of Investigations and the Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms agencies. He was the Incident Commander for the FEMA team when they experienced an F3 Tornado in 2008. He has served on the Weld County Fire Investigations team was the past President of the Northern Colorado Fire Marshals Association and held a seat on the Board of Directors. Mr. Davis managed the Windsor-Severance Fire Districts Business inspection program, Hazardous Materials program and provided environmental impact studies. Mr. Davis entered the private sector in 2014 and has performed over 250 structure and vehicle fires since this time and has lead or participated in multiple joint scene exams.
