Melvin Morisset

Melvin is a Marine & Cargo Surveyor with experience in marine surveying, international claims coordination, crisis management and risk analysis. Currently with Sedgwick since 2025, he advises on surveys in the Greater Paris region and oversees international assignments. Holding a Master’s degree in Global Risk Analysis & Crisis Management and a Bachelor’s degree in International Business and Trade, Melvin has held a range of roles in the marine and transport sector, including assignments in North America and Latin America. His expertise includes cargo transportation, contractual liability issues, investigations, theft and fraud claims, logistics risk management, and salvage operations. He has been involved in complex cases worldwide, including cargo thefts, vessel incidents, major transport losses, industrial equipment handling, and natural catastrophe-related claims.
