Kartik is a seasoned aviation professional with over 22 years of experience in aircraft maintenance and surveying. As a B1 licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer and having completed a Fellowship by the Insurance Institute of India, Kartik offers expertise in aviation surveying, claims handling, risk management, technical evaluation and loss assessment.
With a strong background in aircraft maintenance, Kartik has worked as a Sr. Duty Engineer in the Line Maintenance and Maintenance Control Centre of a major commercial airline in India. Since transitioning to aviation surveying in 2022, he has gained extensive experience handling a broad range of commercial and general aviation claims in the South Asia region.
Kartik’s expertise includes aircraft recoveries, managing complex repairs, total losses, liability claims, aircraft damage due to tail strikes, bird/hail/lightning strikes, engine ingestions, transportation, third-party activities, runway excursions, and hangar fires, among others. He has also handled claims in Singapore, and asset management projects in Thailand and India.
