Stefan became a lawyer in 1999. Until 2005, he was self-employed in his own law firm in a general department, which also included insurance claims, primarily in the motor vehicle sector.
Since 2005, Stefan has been working in the field of claims services for insurers and industrial clients, where he is in charge of national and international mass and major claims, mainly in the field of liability (product, general, motor vehicles). He was head of the TPA department for many years and was responsible for the coordination and legal support of the incoming and outgoing business. Furthermore he was responsible for the run-off of liability claims of an international insurer as well as for a worldwide product recall on a local level. In addition, he was in charge of coordinating recourse management within the company. Stefan currently heads our liability team in the TPA department and supports the technical expert team in legal matters.
