Dominique is a senior marine and transport surveyor with +25 years of experience. A former merchant navy officer, he sailed as both deck officer and engineer before transitioning to marine loss adjusting. He has held key roles at Van Ameyde Marine and led SNC DE LA MENARDIERE as Lloyd’s Agent in Brest, Nantes, and Bordeaux.

Since 2018, he has been Sedgwick France’s National Head of Marine & Transport, and is also a CESAM, Lloyd’s, and VHT agent. Dominique handles complex marine claims involving cargo, ship machinery, port equipment, and offshore assets, with expertise in nautical investigations and major losses.
