Marcus Winter

Marcus works on major downstream and power claims across the Middle East and Europe and also has experience with onshore upstream, midstream, and wind claims. He joined the insurance sector after 10 years as a Royal Marines Commando officer, serving in operations and intelligence roles focused on maritime security, nuclear security, and counter-terrorism across the Baltic, Arctic, and Middle East. Marcus holds a bachelor’s degree in history and politics from the University of Sheffield, a postgraduate diploma in security, conflict and international development from the University of Leicester, and the Certificate in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).
