Zach Trede

Zachary Trede is a marine engineer holding a chief engineer unlimited and electro-technical officer certificate of competency, with 18 years in the maritime industry. He has served as a seagoing engineering officer and chief engineer onboard naval amphibious warships, offshore supply vessels, subsea construction vessels, ferries, semi-submersibles, and drill ships.
Following his seagoing experience, Zachary worked as an electrical engineer on several government shipbuilding programs, including combatants, logistics vessels, and research vessels. Zachary has also worked as a marine assurance consultant performing inspections, audits, risk assessments, marine warranty project management, and dynamic positioning assurance in the offshore energy sector prior to working as a marine forensics expert.
