Ben has more than 20 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance. He began his career as an apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in 2004, working across small to mid-size turboprop and piston engine general aviation aircraft, and qualified as a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at the age of 21.
He later joined a major Australian airline, where he certified on Airbus A330, Boeing 737NG and ATR 72-212A aircraft. In this role, he coordinated and supervised maintenance activities across both line and hangar environments, including AOG recoveries, and supported operations as an outport relief engineer and flying spanner on international passenger and delivery flights.
Ben is now a resident Aviation Surveyor with Sedgwick Aviation Services, based in Singapore.
