Matheus Kastrup

Matheus holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal Center for Technological Education of Rio de Janeiro (CEFET/RJ), Brazil, and a Postgraduate Degree (Lato Sensu), MBA in Strategic Management of Production and Maintenance from Fluminense Federal University (UFF), Brazil.
Matheus commenced his professional career as a Mechanical Engineer at a major shipyard in Rio de Janeiro, where he developed solid experience in the construction, maintenance, inspection, and operation of offshore support vessels. He subsequently moved into loss adjusting, focusing on complex claims across the energy sector, including upstream and downstream losses, and involvement in mining-related claims. His experience includes Physical Damage, Machinery Breakdown, Loss of Production, Business Interruption, Construction All Risks, Offshore Property, Onshore Property, and Liability claims in Brazil.
