Severe storms impact South East Queensland

On Monday, 24 November 2025, South East Queensland was hit by one of the most destructive storm systems in recent years. Intense thunderstorms swept from the New South Wales border through Brisbane and up to the Sunshine Coast, causing significant property damage and service disruptions. Further storms are forecast in the coming days.
