Andrew Cripps

Andrew has more than 30 years’ experience handling a wide range of aviation claims across multiple sectors, including commercial transport, rotor wing and general aviation, as well as turbine and piston engines and composite materials.

He began his career in the Lloyd’s Aviation Department, where he became Head of Aviation Intelligence before moving into a survey role. Building on this foundation, he has since held a number of senior positions in aviation claims, leading complex assignments before joining Sedgwick as a Director in 2024.

Andrew specialises in salvage disposal, liability and dispute resolution, as well as valuation, subrogation and parts procurement. He also holds a private pilot’s licence.
