Kate is a performance-driven executive who has more than 25 years of experience within the financial services industry. Kate has gained a deep understanding of insurance, governance, risk and compliance from her former roles as chief risk officer, chief privacy officer and whistleblower protection officer. Previously, she has held other executive governance, risk, audit and compliance roles at several of Australia’s top insurers. Kate joined Sedgwick in January 2023 and currently heads the governance, risk and compliance division in Australia. In her current role, she is responsible for developing and strengthening governance, risk and compliance practices. Kate is also the chair of the ESG Australian committee. She prides herself on being an inspirational and values-based leader and is renowned for thinking outside of the box in finding practical solutions for navigating a heavily regulated industry.
