Margot de Villiers

Margot has more than 23 years of experience in marine insurance and surveying, beginning her career at one of Africa’s oldest marine surveying companies. She manages a wide range of marine losses, including cargo, goods in transit, transporter’s liability, insurance warranty, project cargo surveys, and risk audits for underwriters, insurers and brokers. Margot holds diplomas in marine surveying and loss adjusting, a Certificate IV in General Insurance, and ANZIIF (Snr Assoc) CIP status. She is a member of both the International Institute of Marine Surveyors and the Australian Institute of Marine Surveyors and leads Sedgwick’s marine team.
