Capt. Roopesh Nair

Roopesh is a Master Mariner with more than 17 years of seagoing experience, including seven years as Master on container ships, car carriers, bulk carriers, and tankers. He subsequently moved ashore and has spent the past 13 years managing complex, high-value marine claims for offshore operations and deep-sea fleets, with expertise spanning gas carriers, tankers, bulk carriers, and specialized offshore units such as DP vessels and jack-up drilling rigs. Roopesh has also played a key role in major marine warranty projects, including FPSO deployments and rig moves. He holds a Master Mariner Unlimited license, is an Associate Fellow of the Nautical Institute (AFNI), and is a member of the Society of Offshore Marine Warranty Surveyors (SOMWS).
