Gary Mawditt

Gary has more than 26 years of experience as a loss adjuster specializing in well control and drilling-related losses. He began his oil industry career as a mudlogger in the southern North Sea and has since worked in Venezuela, the Netherlands, and Norway. He has been based primarily in London and has also spent time working in Canada. Gary manages a broad portfolio of complex, high-profile claims across international markets and leads Sedgwick’s global upstream practice.
He holds a BSc in Geology and an MSc in Mining Geology from the Camborne School of Mines. Gary is a Fellow of the Geological Society, a member of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum, and a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
