As a manager carpenter and structural technician, Klaus was active throughout Germany from 1993 to 2012 with a focus on planning, project management and the implementation of residential buildings, school buildings, kindergartens and daycare centres in ecological timber construction. In 2013, he moved to a globally active company for restoration of fire and water damage. This was followed by many years as a project manager in the handling of fire and water damage restoration, from small-scale damage to natural hazard events to large-scale complex damage. At the beginning of 2022, Klaus switched from damage restoration to damage assessment. He has 29 years of experience in the construction industry, 12 of which he’s worked in damaged restoration.
