JAKARTA, 18 October 2021 – Sedgwick, a leading global provider of technology-enabled risk, benefits and integrated business solutions, continues to align its enhanced resources around the world by announcing the rebranding of Cunningham Lindsey operations and services in Indonesia.

As of 30 September 2021, the company received approval from Otoritas Jasa Keuangan/Financial Authority Services to transition from PT. Cunningham Lindsey Indonesia to PT Sedgwick Adjusters Indonesia. Commercial use of the Sedgwick name commences today.

Following the strategic acquisition of Cunningham Lindsey, and its subsidiaries in 2018, the announcement constitutes the final step in the integration of Sedgwick’s operations in Indonesia. Under the unified brand, PT Sedgwick Adjusters Indonesia is now part of the world’s leading claims management organization and will continue to deliver the same highly valued products and services to clients. Local experts in the market have the support of Sedgwick’s unrivalled global knowledge and access to high-quality training, industry best practices and subject matter expertise.

The rebranding aligns with Sedgwick’s strategic expansion in Indonesia and strengthens the business’s position in the wider Southeast Asia market. It follows the senior leadership changes announced in December 2020 and is a testament to the company’s commitment to becoming a regional industry and market leader.

“The benefits of this rebrand continue to bring together the expertise of the Indonesia team to support our clients, who will benefit from an enhanced suite of services,” said James Ong, Sedgwick CEO for Asia. “The brand change broadens our capabilities by enabling us to benefit from the expertise of a business with a global footprint and so forms part of our planned expansion in Indonesia, and moreover the Asian markets.”

“With the integration of the two companies, a three-year process in which the rebranding marks the final step, PT Sedgwick Adjusters Indonesia will continue to benefit from access to global resources to support local and regional needs,” added Andri Dirgantara, president director for Sedgwick in Indonesia.

As part of the largest third-party claims administrator (TPA) globally, the Indonesia team will be optimally positioned to support the future needs of existing and prospective clients in a wide range of areas — including general property and liability, catastrophe (CAT) response, engineering, product recall, accident and health, marine and risk surveying — by leveraging Sedgwick’s locally based team of highly qualified experts in architecture, chartered loss adjusting, chartered surveying and civil engineering.
