Recent media coverage has highlighted the growing pressure on emergency services and insurers as the UK faces an increasing number of large-scale fire incidents.
Currently, the UK is tackling 37 wildfires, four of which have been declared major incidents. These often happen with little to no warning and can cause severe damage and/or interruption to property, infrastructure, business activities and supply chains, as well as putting increased strain on claims activity operations.
