Amy O’Neill

Amy has nearly 20 years of experience in average adjusting and extensive expertise handling a wide variety of marine claims worldwide. Her work includes large multi-bill of lading container ship casualties, as well as general average and salvage matters. She specializes in marine insurance and hull and machinery claims, including particular and general average, salvage, collision liability and recoveries, loss of hire and loss of earnings, total and constructive total loss, sue and labor, war risks, shipbuilders’ risks, repairers’ liability, cargo, and other marine claims. Amy holds a BSc in Psychology from the University of Liverpool and is a Fellow of the UK Association of Average Adjusters (AAA). She joined Sedgwick Global Specialty as Managing Director in 2025.
