David Harrison

David has more than 35 years of experience in the insurance industry, specialising in liability claims. He began his career with an insurer before moving into liability adjusting in 2000 and has particular expertise in motor, public, and employers’ liability, including major losses and claims in the rail, construction, and steel fabrication sectors. David has extensive experience in the Scottish legal jurisdiction, with a strong focus on reparation claims. Promoted to Liability Claims Services Director in 2023, he now leads a team of over 190 practitioners across Sedgwick’s TPA liability, liability adjusting, utilities, TPPD motor impact, and complex liability teams, while also managing key insurer and corporate client accounts.
