Philip Thorne

Philip has 28 years of policing and forensic investigations experience. He began his career with the British police in 1996 working as a police officer with the Hertfordshire Constabulary. In 2000, Philip emigrated to South Africa and joined a commercial investigation company as a commercial crime investigator, where he collected and verified evidence for use in criminal and civil proceedings. Then, in 2016, Philip became involved with the investigation of insurance claims and a variety of corruption and fraud cases for state-owned entities and private companies. In 2021, Philip joined Sedgwick as the claims fraud and investigation services lead for Sedgwick’s South Africa operation.
