Sean has more than 25 years’ experience in aviation loss adjusting and currently oversees Sedgwick’s aviation operations in the Americas region.
He began his career in aircraft maintenance and quality assurance, spending 21 years with three UK-based airlines before moving into loss adjusting in 2001. In his current role, he manages a team of specialist aviation adjusters and continues to handle claims on behalf of aviation insurers worldwide. His work primarily involves partial and total hull losses for commercial airlines, cargo operators and regional carriers, as well as liability claims for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) providers, airlines and ground handling companies.
Sean has extensive expertise in commercial jet turbine engines and holds type ratings on Airbus A320 and A340 aircraft, the Boeing 747, and engines including the CFM56, V2500, CF6-80, RB211 and JT9D. He has also supported legal counsel on litigation, subrogation and expert witness matters, and is proficient in Spanish.
