Financial interest disclosure
A. Sedgwick maintains administrative service agreements with some of its vendor partners. Through the administrative service agreements, vendor partners acknowledge the services Sedgwick provides in the business model for Sedgwick customer support. Services provided by Sedgwick supporting the vendor partner programs for which Sedgwick may receive payment from the vendor include:
- EDI connectivity;
- Sedgwick state reporting, including medical EDI reporting, and quality assurance for regulatory compliance;
- Technology enhancements;
- Utilization management services;
- Account management services; and
- Calculating and processing payments.
B. Sedgwick enters into agreements with certain sponsoring organisations in select states in connection with providing group rating, group retrospective rating, and unemployment compensation services to the sponsoring organisations’ members. As part of these agreements, Sedgwick may pay the sponsoring organisations a fee or a percentage of fees Sedgwick collects from the members of the sponsoring organisations, except when prohibited under applicable law.
C. Sedgwick enters into agreements with certain agency organisations for their referral to their clients of certain Sedgwick third-party claim administration services, unemployment compensation services, and group rating and group retrospective rating services. As part of these agreements, Sedgwick may pay such agency organisations a fee or a percentage of fees Sedgwick collects from the agency organisations’ clients, except when prohibited under applicable law.
