LONDON, 17 April 2023 – Sedgwick, a leading global provider of technology-enabled risk, benefits and integrated business solutions, has appointed Jonathan Mockridge as head of its UK environmental adjusting practice.
Mockridge joins Sedgwick from a UK specialist loss adjusting and claims handling company and brings over 25 years of insurance industry experience. He has deep expertise in environmental adjusting, having spent 13 years specialising in environmental losses associated with commercial, agricultural and domestic pollution incidents and involving a variety of contaminants.
In his new role, Mockridge will be responsible for overseeing Sedgwick’s environmental adjusting team and ensuring clients continue to receive first-class service. Drawing on his previous experience working alongside environmental statutory regulators and benefitting from access to the specialist environmental consulting services provided by EFI Global, part of Sedgwick, Mockridge will focus on cost-effective remedial strategies for addressing the challenges of site-specific pollution events. Additionally, he will provide supportive guidance to help customers work with statutory regulators.
“We’re pleased to welcome Jonathan to Sedgwick and the expertise he will bring to the environmental adjusting arm of our business,” said Paul White, Sedgwick CEO for the UK. “Our developing specialty practice, coupled with Jonathan’s background and experience, will be a perfect fit for this crucial area of growth for us.”
