The so-called Mountain Fire continues to burn in Southern California, where it has destroyed over 200 structures, mostly homes, and caused more than 14,000 residents to evacuate. The fire began in Ventura County, northwest of Los Angeles, on Wednesday and has been growing rapidly, fueled by near-hurricane-force winds. As of Friday morning, it has burned more than 20,000 acres, at 7% containment. The cause of the fire is unknown.
