Mark Smith

Mark has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, primarily across the Middle East and surrounding markets. He previously served as a non-executive director at a global loss adjusting firm and was a founding partner of one of the UAE’s leading chartered loss adjusting practices. Mark has overseen a wide range of major and high-profile losses, specializing in heavy industrial risks, business interruption, and construction claims, with a strong focus on clear communication and stakeholder management throughout the claims process. He is a Chartered Loss Adjuster (FCILA), a Chartered Insurance Practitioner (ACII), FUEDI-ELAE accredited, and holds ACIArb and FIFAA fellowships.
