Elizabeth Demaret

Elizabeth is President of Sedgwick’s Carrier Services providing Executive oversight and management for Sedgwick’s global carrier relationships. She provides carriers with strategic access and technical insight to our offerings that cater to the needs of property, casualty and benefits insurers of all sizes across more than 80 countries. In her 14 years at Sedgwick, Elizabeth previously served as President of specialty solutions and held dual roles as Chief of Staff and Executive Vice President for carrier and international strategic development.

Prior to joining Sedgwick in 2012, she held executive positions at both brokerage firms and insurance carriers with more than than 35 years of broking, underwriting and claims management experience. She served as chief operating officer, multinational client services for Marsh. At Marsh, Elizabeth was responsible for growing their business with multi-national accounts through a global account relationship network. Elizabeth has also served in leadership roles for Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., Ltd, Near North National Group, Home Insurance Company and ACE Insurance.

Elizabeth is past Chairperson of the World Federation of Insurance Intermediaries – Ms. Demaret was the first woman to serve as the chairperson of this distinguished group representing CIAB. She has been honored to be named as both a Business Insurance’s Women to Watch honoree and an Elite Woman of Insurance by Insurance Business Magazine.
