Climate events are multiplying and occurring in quick succession throughout France: major flooding in the west, storm NILS in early February, then storm PEDRO, which is currently affecting the Atlantic coast, the southwest, and Roussillon with violent winds and intense rain.
In response to this series of events, Sedgwick’s CAT plan, which has been activated since the beginning of the disturbances, enables an immediate, coordinated, and perfectly structured response.
Our teams were ready: the organization is in place, the processes are well-established, and all of our crisis management systems are operating at full capacity.
Starting next week, around 20 Sedgwick loss adjusters will be on the ground in the most affected areas.
At the same time, our teams of video experts continue to provide rapid response and optimal service continuity to absorb the flow of claims and support policyholders from the very beginning.
Our CAT unit, which operates 7/7 during periods of climate crisis, remains fully mobilized to guarantee our clients precise guidance, fluid communication, and responsive and reliable management in a particularly challenging weather context.
Sedgwick remains mobilized alongside insurers, local authorities, and policyholders.
Our goal remains the same: to ensure effective, humane, and responsive crisis management wherever our teams are needed.
