The focus of Olaf’s work is balance sheet analysis, risk consulting, financial services such as leasing (and other services) and insurance. After an intensive training period, he became specialised in damage (buildings, contents business, household effects), liability claims and business interruption claims. At the start of his career, Olaf completed training as a savings bank clerk and worked in customer advisory services in the financial services sector. After five years, he transitioned to the automotive industry and worked for Mercedes Benz selling passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. He worked his way up through several positions and reached the role of sales manager as well as fleet management consultant for major customers. During this time, he looked after fleets of more than 30 vehicles per location. Olaf held this position for 13 years for the Volkswagen Group in Kassel.
