LONDON, 21 October 2021 – Sedgwick, a leading global provider of technology-enabled risk, benefits and integrated business solutions, has announced the strategic hire of Heather Moyes to lead client accounts, with a distinct focus on corporate markets in the UK.
In this new role, Moyes will manage a portfolio of clients and prospects, with an emphasis on client retention and new business development. She will also oversee and further develop existing client relationships with a view to maintaining Sedgwick’s best-in-class service offering.
With a career spanning nearly 15 years in account management and business development across surveying, loss adjusting and underwriting sales, Moyes brings to the role her impressive and deep expertise in the insurance industry. She is rejoining the Sedgwick organization after spending five years as an account executive for a global insurer. This prior experience has enabled her to develop her skillset in client management and an in depth understanding of the array of risks facing clients in the corporate sector especially in today’s hardened market where a solid approach to risk management is key to sustainable placement. Moyes also brings with her a strong passion for sales and will be focused on maintaining and building upon an already strong and viable pipeline.
“The effects of the pandemic have been particularly felt through asset risks, corporate market volatility and business interruption,” said Nicola Dryden, chief client officer at Sedgwick. “Now more than ever, our clients require reassurance and consistent advice to guide them in this ‘new normal.’ With her proven background, Heather is perfectly positioned to provide that reassurance and further enhance Sedgwick’s client relationships.”
“I am delighted to be rejoining the Sedgwick family,” Moyes said. “I have been particularly impressed by how Sedgwick leads with new and innovative solutions for the benefit of clients and their customers. I look forward to dedicating my efforts towards preserving the delivery of a highly tailored, quality service to both new and existing clients.”
