A leading specialty insurance provider noticed its policyholders were experiencing slow response times from their adjuster when they requested temporary housing extensions. These delays not only increased costs to the provider but they also sometimes resulted in policyholders having to pay their own hotel fees and/or lose their short-term accommodations altogether, leaving them extremely dissatisfied.
Solution
The provider partnered with Sedgwick’s temporary housing team to access ClaimTrak, our online portal. Within the portal, adjusters now had immediate access to all claims-related data and the ability to quickly respond to pending hotel stays or temporary housing requests in one location.
