LONDON – Sedgwick, the world’s leading risk and claims administration partner, has launched a new service designed to deliver impactful learning and development (L&D) solutions to insurance and corporate clients across the UK.
Talent solutions is spearheaded by Carolyn Blunt, a renowned L&D leader in the insurance and contact centre industries. With a 20-year track record in building high-performing teams, designing agile training solutions, and delivering customer experience transformation, Blunt brings a unique combination of expertise, market credibility, and proven results.
As part of Sedgwick’s Third-Party Administration (TPA) division, talent solutions adds a new dimension to Sedgwick’s client offering. The service provides flexible, commercially funded training for front-line staff, leaders, and technical teams. Programmes are delivered through in-person facilitation, virtual classrooms, e-learning, and blended models.
Talent solutions is designed to work in synergy with Sedgwick’s existing resource solutions offering, creating a holistic people-focused service model. From hiring and secondments to onboarding, training and development, the combined offering enables clients to streamline operations and drive performance outcomes.
“Talent solutions is a complementary solution within Sedgwick’s ecosystem. We’re building on our people-first ethos and responding to our clients’ growing needs around talent retention, upskilling, and operational performance,” said Neil Gibson, Chief Executive Officer in the UK at Sedgwick. “Carolyn’s leadership and expertise gives us a tremendous platform to expand our offering and shape the future of learning in the claims and insurance sector.”
The launch of talent solutions addresses key challenges facing organisations today: the rise of AI and automation, the need for stronger data and communication skills, evolving compliance requirements, and heightened customer expectations. These trends are placing increased pressure on operational leaders to develop their teams rapidly and effectively.
Blunt said: “For more than two decades I’ve supported clients in driving performance through people development. In today’s rapidly shifting landscape, organisations need more than training; they need agile, skills-based solutions that unlock potential and drive results. We’re here to deliver solutions that capitalise on Sedgwick’s expertise, close capability gaps and create measurable impact for our clients.”
