Sedgwick helps a banking institution navigate the road to recovery with mental health guidance
Our banking client saw increased employee absences related to mental health struggles. The client implemented a program using Sedgwick’s behavioral health specialists, who got involved when employees reported a short-term disability with mental health as the primary diagnosis. Focusing on empathy and engaging early in the claim process, the clinician played a vital role in aiding employees as they enacted a treatment plan and managed their symptoms. We also ensured that employees utilized benefits available through the client’s employee assistance program (EAP) while developing strategies for transitioning back to work.
We helped employees promptly access support services, which assisted them in resuming productivity at work and ensured a better quality of life.
