Partnering with Sedgwick for workers’ compensation, disability management and general liability requires seamless integration of services. Working with a leading food distributor since 2007, we have achieved significant desk-level efficiencies through system communications, a regionalized office structure and a fully dedicated client services director. We have achieved program success by aligning the distributor’s claim managers with internal resources such as ancillary care networks and fraud services according to specialized and consistent workflows.
Expanding our services has improved claimant satisfaction while minimizing downstream impacts like unnecessary emergency room visits and litigation when a claimant is volleyed between providers. Because of our focus, we have significantly improved employee productivity by reducing lost work time and identifying return to work opportunities.
